On-site service

Professional Smart
Home Installation

KNX-certified engineers on site — from panel mounting and bus wiring through to full ETS6 programming, DALI commissioning and owner handover.

On-site scope

What we do on site

🔧

Panel installation

Safe mounting and mechanical integration of the delivered panel into the electrical room or dedicated enclosure cabinet. Includes incoming supply termination, earthing verification and pre-energisation checks.

🔌

KNX bus wiring

Installation of KNX TP (twisted pair) bus cable throughout the building. Correct polarity, shielding and topology per KNX installation guidelines. Line coupler cabling for multi-line systems.

💡

DALI circuit setup

DALI-2 bus wiring from the gateway to each driver. Polarity verification, current budget check, short-circuit isolation per circuit. Emergency DALI circuit wiring per EN 50172.

📲

Device commissioning

Physical addressing of all KNX devices via ETS6 programming interface. DALI device discovery, group assignment and scene configuration. Blind actuator calibration and binary input parameterisation.

💻

ETS6 programming

Full on-site ETS6 programming session: download of group addresses, device parameters, time programs, heating setpoints and scene configurations. Complete as-built ETS6 project file delivered on completion.

🔗

Integration & testing

End-to-end functional testing of all scenes, schedules and integrations (Modbus, BACnet, IP cameras, audio). Each function logged in the commissioning test sheet, signed by the lead engineer.

How we work

Installation process

01

Site survey

We visit (or review site photos / plans remotely) to confirm cable routing, enclosure positions, junction box locations and any site-specific constraints before the main installation day.

02

Installation day(s)

Panel mounting, bus cable installation, DALI circuit wiring, sensor and actuator positioning. Timeline depends on project size — typical apartment: 1–2 days; villa: 3–5 days; office: 1–2 weeks.

03

Commissioning

ETS6 download, DALI commissioning, integration test, scene verification and time program setup. All functions verified against the commissioning checklist.

04

Handover training

1–2 hour session with the building operator or owner. Covers visualisation interface, scene control, energy dashboard and how to contact us for support.

05

Documentation

As-built documentation package: final ETS6 file, updated wiring diagram, commissioning test report, DALI configuration file and handover training notes.

Geographic coverage

Where we install

Our installation team is based in Riga, Latvia. We cover the Baltics as our home territory and take on EU projects for larger-scope installations where on-site presence is economically justified.

For projects outside the Baltics, travel and accommodation costs are included in the project quote. Remote commissioning support via KNX/IP is available for projects where physical presence is not feasible.
