How we use Larnitech
Larnitech KNX product portfolio: All devices are standard KNX TP (twisted pair) certified and appear in ETS6 as standard KNX devices. Larnitech KNX 12-channel Binary Input: 12 inputs configurable individually as switch input, push-button, motion sensor, or temperature sensor input. Integrated 10 kOhm temperature measurement on each input terminal. Telegram rate limit configurable per channel. 2-byte DPT 9.001 for temperature. DIN 4TE (70mm). Larnitech KNX 8A Switching Actuator (6-channel): 6x 8A/250VAC relay outputs. Short-circuit protection per channel. Status feedback objects. Central function object. Supports 16 Modbus registers mappable to KNX GAs. Baud rate 9600-115200. Baltic market: Larnitech distributes via local electrical wholesalers in Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia. Compared to MDT/Weinzierl: Larnitech modules are cost-competitive for straightforward I/O and actuator applications; for complex Modbus register-to-KNX mapping or 4-channel output, MDT and Weinzierl still offer more configuration flexibility.

4x 300W TRIAC dimmer channels, leading/trailing edge auto-detect. LED compatible with linearisation. Manual override. Compatible with ETS6 dimming profiles.

4x motor outputs with venetian blind mode (position + slat angle). Travel time calibration. Wind alarm 1-bit input. DIN 4TE.
KNX RS232/RS485 Gateway
Transparent serial gateway with 16 Modbus RTU register mappings to KNX GAs. Baud 9600-115200. Integrates Ouman EH-203, Swegon GOLD, and other RS485 HVAC devices into KNX without separate Modbus gateway.

Are Larnitech modules certified KNX devices?
Yes. All Larnitech KNX modules carry the KNX Association certification and have ETS product database (ETS Online Catalog) entries. They are interoperable with all other KNX TP certified devices. The Larnitech RS485 gateway also follows the KNX serial gateway specification for Modbus RTU integration.
