Distribution boards & enclosures

Distribution boards and enclosures are empty cabinets and junction boxes that house breakers, terminals and wiring connections.

Boards follow IEC 61439 for low-voltage switchgear; junction enclosures are rated by IP class and sized in millimetres. Wall thickness and cable entry points decide which box fits.

• Size — junction boxes from 85×85 mm up to 200×200 mm, square or rectangular
• Ingress protection — outdoor and damp spots need a sealed IP-rated enclosure
• Mounting — surface boxes for exposed runs, flush boards for a finished wall
