Terms & Conditions

1. Scope

These terms govern the sale of custom electrical control panels and related engineering services by I Smart SIA (trading as PanelCraft) to professional customers — electrical integrators, contractors and businesses — within the European Union. By placing an order you accept these terms.

2. Quotations and orders

Quotations are based on the project documentation you provide and are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. An order becomes binding when we issue a written order confirmation. Each panel is built to your specification (schematics, protocols, components).

3. Prices and payment

Prices are quoted in euro (EUR), excluding VAT where applicable. Intra-EU B2B supplies are invoiced under the reverse-charge mechanism upon provision of a valid VAT number. Payment terms are stated on the invoice; production begins after the agreed deposit or payment is received.

4. Manufacturing and lead time

Panels are custom-built, wired, programmed and quality-checked in our workshop in Rīga, Latvia. Standard lead time is 10 to 15 working days from a confirmed order and approved design, depending on component availability.

5. Delivery

We ship across 12 EU countries. Risk passes to the customer on handover to the carrier (Incoterms FCA Rīga unless agreed otherwise). Delivery dates are estimates and not guaranteed; minor delays do not entitle the customer to cancel.

6. Compliance

All panels are manufactured to CE and EN IEC 61439 standards and are supplied with the corresponding declaration of conformity, test report and documentation.

7. Warranty

We provide a 2-year warranty on components, in accordance with the warranty conditions of the respective manufacturers, calculated from the date of delivery.

The warranty becomes void if:

• the panel or any of its devices are combined with equipment that was not supplied by us;
• the system is configured, programmed or modified by anyone other than our own specialists;
• the wiring connected to the panel was carried out by a third party or another company.

The warranty on a panel covers only the components and assembly inside the panel enclosure. It does not extend to external wiring or installation. If a panel or any equipment is damaged or burns out as a result of faulty external wiring, that damage is not covered by this warranty.

For cameras and other field devices, we accept no responsibility for cables, connectors or other external elements that may be subject to damage from outside the panel.

8. Custom products / returns

Because panels are manufactured to individual specification, they are exempt from the statutory right of withdrawal for distance contracts. Returns are accepted only in the case of a defect attributable to I Smart SIA.

9. Liability

Our liability is limited to the value of the order, except in cases of intent or gross negligence or where mandatory law provides otherwise. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit or downtime.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Rīga, Latvia, without prejudice to mandatory EU consumer-protection rules where they apply.
