Frames & faceplates

Frames & faceplates cover the mechanism of a switch, socket or connected device flush against the wall and hold it to a mounting box.

Selection is driven by the number of modules or gangs the frame carries, the fixing-centre spacing in mm to match the mounting box, and the finish family shared with the rest of a wiring-device range. Multi-gang frames combine several single frames on one box; material ranges span painted metal, glass, and moulded plastic.

  • Gang count — 1 to 5+ gang frames depending on how many devices sit together
  • Fixing centres — spacing in mm must match the mounting box (typically 60 mm or 71 mm)
  • Finish and colour — same design range as the switches or sockets it covers
