Energy & Renewables covers hardware that generates, stores and distributes power from solar and other renewable sources.

It spans panels rated in watts peak (Wp), storage in kWh, inverters converting DC to AC, and EV chargers rated in kW. Compatibility and single vs. three-phase supply are the main constraints.

• System type — grid-tied for feed-in and self-consumption, or portable stations (e.g. 2 kWh) for standalone use
• Power — panels around 500 Wp, wall EV chargers up to 22 kW
• Phase — single-phase for small installs, three-phase for larger arrays
