KNX TP devices are addressed and configured in ETS, a manufacturer-independent design tool used across the KNX ecosystem. Larnitech has no separate ETS-style step — modules are configured through the Larnitech app itself.
Interoperability and certification
KNX TP actuators and sensors from different manufacturers are certified to interoperate on the same ISO/IEC 14543-3 standard. Not CANopen
Larnitech's CAN bus uses the CAN physical layer with its own proprietary protocol on top — it is not CANopen, and we don't compare it against CANopen's separate certification ecosystem.
