Fuses & fuse holders

Fuses & fuse holders protect circuits from overcurrent: a calibrated element melts and interrupts the circuit before damage occurs.

NH links (NH0–NH3) carry a gG or aM characteristic up to 500 V AC; cylindrical 10x38 fuses cover DC PV strings to 1000 V; the holder must match fuse size and poles.

• Characteristic — gG for general protection, aM for motor starting, gPV for solar strings
• Breaking capacity — check kA rating against fault current, e.g. 20 kA
• Format — NH0/NH2/NH3 need a matching switch-disconnector; 10x38 needs a 1P/2P DC holder
