Rolling-code fobs, wireless keypad, GSM module, smartphone app and RFID — most sites combine two or more.

Remote fobs (rolling code)

A handheld transmitter using a code that changes on every use, resisting simple code-grabbing — the most familiar method for single-family driveways.

Wireless keypad

A PIN-code keypad mounted at the entrance, useful for staff, guests or households without a fob to hand.

GSM module

Opens the gate on a phone call or SMS from an authorised number — practical where no network wiring reaches the gate.

Smartphone app

Remote opening and visitor management from a phone, typically tied to the drive manufacturer's own cloud or a smart-home hub.

RFID badge access

Card or tag-based entry, common on shared driveways, apartment blocks or commercial sites with multiple regular users.

Frequently asked questions

Can several access methods work on the same gate?

Yes — most installations combine two or more, for example a fob for residents plus a keypad or GSM module for visitors and deliveries.

Why does the fob use a rolling code instead of a fixed one?

A rolling code changes with every use, which resists the code being captured and replayed — it's the standard approach on modern remote-controlled gates.

Does a GSM module need the site's own network or Wi-Fi?

No — it uses the mobile network directly, which is why it suits sites where running network cabling to the gate isn't practical.

How does open-on-arrival work with a smart-home hub?

The hub detects an arriving vehicle or phone and triggers the gate through its own automation layer — it coordinates with the drive's control unit rather than replacing it.

Do you install the access control and integration yourselves?

Planning and system selection can be done in advance with us; the wiring, drive sizing, force-limitation and EN 12453/EN 12445 risk assessment belong to a certified installer.
