KNX Panel Assembly

Professional KNX control panel assembly — DIN rail layout and device spacing for KNX modules, IEC 60445 cable labelling standards with Panduit/Brady labellers, and a systematic testing and commissioning checklist for smart building panels.

Example: KNX Villa Panel Layout

A fully annotated 3-row DIN rail panel for a residential KNX installation — AC protection row, KNX automation row, and terminal block row with colour-coded wiring.

Scale note: 1 TE (Teilungseinheit) = 18mm on TH35 DIN rail. Standard modular enclosures come in 1 row of 24 TE (AP flush), 2 rows of 24 TE, or 3 rows of 24 TE. KNX actuators typically occupy 4–8 TE, while MCBs are 1 TE per pole.
