Larnitech runs on its own CAN bus, not KNX, so the panel layout follows CAN bus discipline: gateway positioned for bus access, modules grouped by function, CAN wiring kept clear of the 230V circuits around it.
Panel layout, step by step
Position the Main Gateway for bus access
The Main Gateway carries two CAN bus connections, one at each end of the line. It goes where both ends of the linear CAN run are reachable, with termination fitted at each end as any CAN network requires.
Group modules by function and floor
Actuator, extension and dimmer modules are arranged by the circuits they serve, not by delivery order. Heating and LED controllers sit near their load circuits, and the leak-protection module goes near the wet-area wiring it watches.
Keep CAN wiring clear of 230V
The CAN High/CAN Low pair is routed separately from the 230V power wiring inside the enclosure, with WAGO-type connectors at every module tap for a clean, serviceable bus connection.
Label every module and channel
Each module and channel is labeled as it's wired in, so the next service call starts from the panel itself, not from guesswork.

The Main Gateway's two bus connections anchor Larnitech's linear CAN topology, terminated at both ends — the rule every CAN network runs on, applied inside the panel.

Placed so both ends of the CAN run are within reach for termination, not tucked where a future service visit needs the panel half-stripped.
Function-first grouping
Actuator, extension and dimmer modules sit with the circuits they drive rather than sorted by module type.

The heating controller and LED controller are placed near the circuits they switch, shortening runs and keeping the wiring readable.
Leak protection near the risk
The leak-protection module sits close to the wet-area wiring it monitors, not on the far side of the enclosure.

Where does the Larnitech Main Gateway go in the panel?

Why keep CAN High/CAN Low separate from the 230V wiring?
The CAN pair is a low-voltage signal bus running alongside mains wiring in the same enclosure. Routing it separately from the 230V circuits keeps the bus readable for service and avoids interference risk between the two.
Why use WAGO connectors at every Larnitech module tap?
WAGO-type connectors give a consistent, toolless bus connection at each module, so adding or swapping a module later doesn't mean re-terminating wire by hand.
